Happy New Year!

Well it is now 2014 and I have almost been a missionary for a year now.... Pretty crazy stuff. Oh I received some of the BEST NEWS EVER this morning, Sister Abernathy, Stake Presidents wife in the Madison Stake, sent me this email

Hermana I just sent a copy of this e-mail to Hermana Knecht as well. You might have already learned about our good news here in the Madison Stake... but all the same I thought you might like to see this. No doubt your hard work in the Lebanon area was helpful in bringing about this great progress! Much thanks and love to you!
The stake presidency announces the creation of the Lebanon Second Branch today. The primary language for this branch is Spanish. Spanish speaking members within the Lebanon Ward boundaries have the option of attending the Lebanon Second Branch. Arturo Salazar was sustained as branch president with Octavio Luna and Zion Carrillo as counselors in the branch presidency. About 50 members were in attendance for their first sacrament meeting.

It was so awesome to receive this news. I am so excited for the Hispanic members and investigators in Lebanon to now have a branch :) The 6 months that I got to spend serving in Lebanon now feels like a great accomplishment!!!

Things here in Manchester are going really well and we continue to work towards having a Manchester Branch!! We have our first zone meeting of the transfer this Wednesday, and I will be giving a training, so I hope it goes well :)

Have a great week and continue to look for daily missionary opportunities!!

Love
Hermana Ayre
